Celebrando el fin del año en Colombia!

To celebrate the new year, Ray and I visited Medellin, Colombia for the first time. It was a beautiful trip where we explored the quaint neighborhood of Laureles and also the mountain town of La Sierra. The city was so lush and full of greenery everywhere we looked with mountains surrounded us from every angle. The people were warm and friendly, the food was full of flavor, savory and delicious and the affordability factor was an added bonus. The highlight of the trip was visiting Las Casa Grande Hacienda, a coffee farm in the mountains about 7200 feet up in altitude. I am forever changed by this coffee experience and am so inspired by the 19th century farmhouse and property. I highly recommend the tour and meeting these lovely people who live off the land!
